SGC LINE

I am so Grateful and Happy about all the new things going on in my life and now having my Line Featured at some amazing Boutiques and Spas around the Valley makes it even better! Your a lucky one if you got a SGC Piece from Me or My Etsy site because the line sells for half the price than the line does in the Boutiques and Spas! Most of the items don't even get a chance to get on the Etsy site since all the items sell out at the Trunk Shows held once a month.
Its great being an Entrepreneur and even better when you work hard at what you do the pay off is fantastic! I couldn't ask for anything more in life, LIFE IS GOOD!

GRACO RECALL

Hey Parents I just got back from my vacation in FL and seen this Graco Stroller Recall hopefully everyone who has this stroller has seen it but if not here you go! Now I owned one of these and I know what they are talking about because my girl once slipped down threw the opening when we were at the Zoo because I was always pulling her out to see the animals then putting her back in to walk to the next it happened because I just didn't buckle it and we were going down a small slant in the walk way and I noticed her slip right away, but seriously if the kid has a chance to be strangled then you were not paying attention you should never leave your child unattended in a stroller even if they are buckled case and point people!!!

For other recall info you can go here
and see if you own or know anyone who owns the product make sure to take care of your babies and always be alert to what they are doing!
 THANK YOU,
SGC

The "other" PB Sandwich

Kids its lunch time! They hear it everyday and for some PB&J is a regular lunch time meal. I remember when I was little I had a babysitter who would only give us that for lunch or even if we wanted a snack it was then half a PB&J, YUCK! I think after I left that place I never ate another PB&J again still to this day its hard for me to gobble down one of these sandwiches. Well here is a good idea (I think). Peanut Butter has gone along way since my day now they have all kinds of different types and flavors you can get on your grocery store shelves. Creamy, Smooth, Chunky, Roasted Honey, Chocolate, Cinnamon Raisin Swirl, White Chocolate, and guess what even PETA Butter yup Peanut Butter & CO has teamed up with PETA and has a Peta Butter 100% Natural Peanut Butter! The list can go on and on but my point is I know we all love a quick treat here and there so why not pick up the Chocolate Peanut Butter and nibble on that instead of a candy bar. I really like the Dark Chocolate Dreams from Peanut Butter & Co its a no stir all natural PB No trans Fat No Cholesterol  No Hydrogenated Oil & No High Fructose Corn Syrup and its great on Bananas!!! When ever my kids are wanting a snack now they ask for a PB Sandwich with Skippy PB and the Dark Chocolate Dreams mixed its like a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup!!!!! MMMMMmmmmm!!!!! I think its a lot better then them asking for candy or fruit snacks out of a package and they just LOVE it so how can I say no? So that's my idea for the day mix the PB Sandwich up to keep your kids taste buds growing and for a healthy yummy snack instead of going for a sugary sweet treat they will love it just as much.

Korker Bow How To

Hey there fellow Crafters it is finally cooling down today we got some good ole rain in this above average temp month and it had to of cooled off 20 degrees!!!! So You know what that means time to crank up that oven and get to work! Oh and I don't mean making muffins or cookies but yumm bring some over if you do :)
I mean it is time to make some KORKERS!!!
For anyone who doesn't know what a korker is its that adorable bouncy little spiral bow you make your kids wear, lol. They are so easy to make all you need are a few tools and a little bit of time. Now I don't know where all my pictures went so these will be of the process of making them just with different color ribbon because somehow some of my pictures got lost or deleted in the ever so full computer, oopsy!

First you will need these items:
Grosgrain Ribbon 3/8
Wooden Dowel Rods 5/16 or other depending on the desire sized
Small craft clothes pins
Oven

After they are curled you need these items:
Wood burner or lighter
Needle
Thread
Hot glue/gun
Alligator Clip/or Headband

*HINT*If your like me you have scraps of ribbon, well you can use those scraps for this project no problem! This is what it will look like after wrapped on the dowels.
OK so what you will want to do first is get your oven ready
you will need a preheated oven from 225 - 275 degrees.  Times very and you do have to keep an eye out that your ribbon Does NOT burn! If you do it at low temp 225 you have to leave them in there for 45min but to save time and money you can bump it up to 250 degrees for 30 min or 275 degrees for 15min. All ovens vary so just keep an eye if it looks like the ribbon is changing color or burning take it out and when you try again make the oven temp lower.
Then begin to wrap your ribbon you chose around the rod like this securing the end with a close pin. *hint* Please use a wood close pin so it doesn't melt in the oven I know this may be a "duh" for some but hey lets face it some of our Mommy Brains don't always think things all the way through...

When it is twisted around all the way secure the other end with your close pin and poof that one is ready to get baked! I just use an old baking pan to put them on and MAKE SURE the close pins are all up and the ribbon is away from the pan so the ribbon doesn't melt off onto the hot pan!
Once heated and ready take them out and let cool ALL THE WAY! Then begin to slide the ribbon off of the rod like this

*NOTE*Depending on what size rod you used will depend on how small and tight the curls are. After this step you can cut the curls to desired length and begin to put the bow together this is one of my finished korkers.

Hope this helped and if you have any questions or comments feel free to leave them for me! :D
THANKS,
SGC
